Uniform
All students taking any Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) or Asia Pacific Dance Association (APDA) syllabus classes are required to wear the appropriate uniform to class.
The correct uniform must be worn for each appropriate genre.
Our Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop and Ballet Uniform is available at The Dancers Wardrobe. Our Ballet Uniform is also available at Pure Dance.

Each class has a specific uniform and grooming requirement. Uniform information is provided upon enrolment and can also be found in the images above.

Yes. Wearing the correct uniform helps create a sense of discipline, unity, and professionalism within the studio environment.

Yes. Hair should be neatly secured off the face for all classes. Ballet classes require a ballet bun.

Students should aim to have the correct uniform within the first few weeks of term.

New students are welcome to attend their first class in comfortable activewear and bare feet or socks if needed, until the correct shoes are purchased.

Parents are welcome to sell or swap second-hand dancewear amongst themselves at their own discretion.

For safety reasons, jewellery and watches should not be worn to class, apart from small stud earrings.
